Ingredients (Partial Mash5 gal)

  • 7 lbs Belgian Pils

    Belgian Pils

    Pilsner style malted barley grain.

  • 3.3 lbs Dry Light; Muntons

    Dry Light; Muntons

    Used as the base for a wide variety of styles of beers, including lager, pale ales, bitters, and export bitters. Contains no colored malts.

  • 1.5 lbs Candi Sugar Clear

    Candi Sugar Clear

    Smooth taste, good head retention, sweet aroma and high gravity without being apparent. Use in Belgian and holiday ales. Use clear for tripels, amber for dubbels, and dark is used in brown beer and strong golden ales.

  • .5 lbs Corn Sugar

    Corn Sugar

    Use in priming beer or in extract recipes where flaked maize would be used in a mash.

  • .5 lbs Honey

    Honey

    Imparts sweet and dry taste. For honey and brown ales. Also: specialty ales.

  • 1 oz Crystal - 4.1 AA% pellets; boiled 60 min

Notes

Infusion-mash grains for 1 hour at 155F. Add candi, corn sugar and honey 30 minutes into boil Total boil time is 90 minutes. Requires 10 gal. brewpot, minimum.
