Ingredients (Extract5 gal)

  • 0.25 lbs American Caramel 10°L

    American Caramel 10°L

    This malt is light in color with a sweet caramel flavor. It is a great malt for light lagers and ales.

  • 0.25 lbs Honey Malt

    Honey Malt

    Nutty honey flavor. For brown ales, Belgian wheats, bocks and many other styles.

  • 0.125 lbs Belgian Biscuit

    Belgian Biscuit

    Warm baked biscuit flavor and aroma. Increases body. Use in Belgian beers.

  • 0.0625 lbs Belgian Special B

  • 6 lbs Liquid Light Extract

    Liquid Light Extract

    A brewer can create any beer style with this extract when used as a base in conjunction with colored malts and selected hops. Contains no colored malts or hops.

Notes

Used 2 Cups of harvested slurry from pale ale. OG of 1.061 Transfered to secondary after 7 days. SG 1.012 FG 1.012. Bottled with 1 qt of Gyle.

Just Bottled yesterday

Initial tasting by non beer loving wife said "if it tastes this good warm and flat, I can't wait for two weeks". Not my style of beer, but I was brewing it for her. I'll let you know how it turns out.
