When the Carboy Breaks APA
American Pale Ale • Partial Mash • 5.25 gal
Nice American Pale Ale. I used some different malts for a different type of flavor profile, and tried to stay away from the citrusy hops. Nice smooth flavor with slight bready, crackery, nutty notes underneath. I would be tempted to make this one again sometime, without any modifications. Tied for third place in contest at my local homebrew club.
