Ingredients (All Grain5 gal)

  • 11 lbs Cargill Euro Pils; Cargill Malt

    Cargill Euro Pils; Cargill Malt

Fashioned after the great Pilsner malts of Europe, Cargill Euro Pils is malted in our Canadian malting facility using the finest Canadian two-row barley. This malt exhibits the distinct "grassiness" often associated with European Pilsner malts.

  • .2 lbs Acid Malt; Castle Malting

    Acid Malt; Castle Malting

Features: Malt processed to lower the pH level of the wort. Usage: For light Ale. Recommended mixture: up to 10%. Characteristics: Reduces wort pH and hence intensifies fermentation. Improves flavour stability.

  • 1.5 lbs Corn Sugar

    Corn Sugar

Use in priming beer or in extract recipes where flaked maize would be used in a mash.

  • 1 oz East Kent Goldings - 6.8 AA% pellets; boiled 60 min

    East Kent Goldings

    Mild, slightly flowery.

  • 1 oz Fuggle - 4.3 AA% pellets; boiled 15 min

    Fuggle

Mild. Mainly used for finishing and dry hopping especially pale ales, porters, and stouts. Aroma is mild and pleasant, spicy, and soft.

  • Imperial Yeast B48 Triple Double

    Imperial Yeast B48 Triple Double

The perfect strain for your classic abbey ales. Triple Double produces moderate esters with low to no phenolic characteristics. This strain is tried and true and works perfectly in a production environment. Keep an eye on Triple Double, it likes to sit on top of the wort throughout fermentation which may result in a slow  fermentation.
