Bohemian Pilsener • All Grain • 15 gal


I won a silver for this one . All the judges said that they had to toss a coin to decide between mine the the one that won gold , because they were too much alike , and the gold went on to win best of show . Damn It LOL

  • 22 lbs Moravian Well-Modified Pale

  • 1.13 lbs 2-Row Caramel Malt 10L; Briess

    2-Row Caramel Malt 10L; Briess

    Golden color and a candy like sweetness. Characteristics & Applications: • In contrast to Brewers Malt, glassiness is a distinguishing characteristic of Caramel Malt. The glassy endosperm creates the desirable non-fermentable components giving true Caramel Malt the ability to contribute body (mouthfeel), foam foam retention, and extended beer stability, while contributing color and unique caramel flavor. • Caramel 10L is a roasted caramel malt that imparts golden color. • Use 3-7% for Pilsener-style beers for balance. • Use 5-15% to provide color, sweetness and color to light amber beers. • Produced from AMBA/BMBRI recommended 2-Row Malting Barley varieties.

  • White Labs WLP800 Pilsner Lager

    White Labs WLP800 Pilsner Lager

    Classic pilsner strain from the premier pilsner producer in the Czech Republic. Somewhat dry with a malty finish, this yeast is best suited for European pilsner production.


Decoction 122 for 30 min , 145-146 for 30 , and 152-153 for 30 . Pitch WLP802 if you can get it
