White color, mild flavor. Will produce lagers and Pilseners and can also be used to produce darker beers when used in conjunction with colored malts. Made of pale malt.

Imparts sweet and dry taste. For honey and brown ales. Also: specialty ales.

Crystal - 3.2 AA% whole; boiled 60 min

Mild. 'Noble'. Used mainly for its aroma which is mild and pleasant.

Fruitier and more flocculant than 1056, slightly nutty, soft, clean, slightly tart finish.
Notes
Make an infusion of green and white tea leaves using 1/4 oz. tea leaves and 2 cups hot water. Only infuse for about 3 minutes to avoid bitter tea. strain tea leaves off and add to carboy in primary along with the yeast.
