Ingredients (Extract2 gal)

  • 1 lbs Crystal Malt 20°L

    Crystal Malt 20°L

    Sweet, mild caramel flavor and a golden color. Use in light lagers and light ales.

  • 1 lbs Honey Malt

    Honey Malt

    Nutty honey flavor. For brown ales, Belgian wheats, bocks and many other styles.

  • 3 lbs Extra Pale; Morgans

    Extra Pale; Morgans

    For making very pale ales and lagers.

  • .7 lbs Corn Sugar

    Corn Sugar

    Use in priming beer or in extract recipes where flaked maize would be used in a mash.

  • .75 oz Columbus - 14.2 AA% whole; boiled 60 min

    Columbus

    Used mainly for bittering with some flavor qualities as well. Aroma is pleasant.

  • .5 oz Nugget - 13.7 AA% whole; boiled 50 min

    Nugget

    This is very bitter and often used in medium to dark ales and lagers. Aroma is quite heavy and herbal.

  • .75 oz Glacier - 5.9 AA% whole; boiled 45 min

    Glacier

    An excellent new variety with balanced bittering properties combined with a good aroma profile.

  • .75 oz Mt. Hood - 6.7 AA% whole; boiled 35 min

    Mt. Hood

    Used mainly for aroma and flavor in American and German style ales and lagers. Aroma is mild, pleasant, light, and clean.

  • .5 oz Goldings - 4.6 AA% whole; boiled 20 min

    Goldings

    Mild. Slightly flowery.

  • .5 oz Goldings - 4.6 AA% whole; boiled 13 min
