    Body and Richness. Distictive Nutty flavor and or sweet, smooth caramel flavor and a red to deep red color. For porters, old ales.

  • .25 lbs American Victory

    American Victory

    Provides a deep golden to brown color. Use in nut brown ales, IPAs and Scottish ales.

  • 6 lbs Extra Pale; Morgans

    For making very pale ales and lagers.

  • .5 lbs Malto Dextrin

    Malto Dextrin

    Adds body and mouthfeel. For all extract beers. Does not ferment.

  • 1 oz Northern Brewer - 8.0 AA% pellets; boiled 60 min

Notes

12/27/10 - brew day. OG finished a little high at 1.052, but I left all the hop residue in the carboy for more pronounced bitterness.
