Traditional Classic American Pils.....I can't believe the commercial guys haven't brought this one back......Primary at 55 for 3 weeks secondary at 30 for 3 weeks bottled and waited for two weeks at room temp chilled...........mmgood!!!

Ingredients (All Grain5 gal)

  • 8 lbs American 6-row Pale

    American 6-row Pale

    Tends to increase lautering efficiency due to a stiffer husk. May be used as the base malt for any beer style. The enzymes in all varieties of the current crop are sufficient to support high percentages of specialty malts and adjuncts.

  • .25 lbs Crystal Malt 20°L

    Crystal Malt 20°L

    Sweet, mild caramel flavor and a golden color. Use in light lagers and light ales.

  • 2 lbs Corn Flaked (Maize)

    Corn Flaked (Maize)

    Generally a neutral flavor, used to reduce maltiness of beer. Produces beer with a milder, less malty flavor. Uses: Primarily for light Bohemian and Pilsner lagers.

  • 1 oz Cluster -7.0 AA% pellets; boiled 60 min

    Used for bittering and flavor qualities in light and dark American lagers. Aroma is very floral.

  • .5 oz Saaz -3.0 AA% pellets; boiled 15 min
