I'm guessing this is dead? I would really like an iPad version. I was actually thinking of purchasing BeerAlchemy for the iPad but I'd rather have BTP... just sayin'

With iOS5 and Lion 10.7.2 you can use iCloud to store recipes and push the changes across devices so you users would always have the latest version of their recipe with them.

You could also use Dropbox as some have mentioned which has a very easy API to work with.

Also, with iOS 5, it would be silly not to make a Universal app for this. Even if the functionality was completely the same across the two devices, just having some more real estate and being able to switch through recipes easily would be nice.

Also, have you ever toyed with the idea of moving things like the Ingredients Database or other information that is shared across all users to a web server, so that can be updated and pushed out to users independently of application updates? That way you could tape into the same service with the mobile applications in future updates.

Are there any updates on this? I've been using BeerTools Pro for years because I feel it is the best app on my Mac. But since I use my iPad or iPhone to control my BCS, I am increasingly finding a mobile version would be extremely convenient. Both Beersmith and Beer Alchemy have mobile apps and pretty soon, that convenience, for me, is going to outweigh what I like about the BTP desktop version over the other two...

I believe there is an iPad app for viewing BTP recipe files called BrewWatcher. I haven't used it myself so I can't say I how good it is. However, it may be worth investigating.
