Has there been a release for linux yet?
Re: Linux
We were not able to offer an official release for Linux because of a third party plugin problem. Some have decided that this is a small inconvenience and have switched their license to the unsupported Linux version of BeerTools Pro. If you decide you would like to investigate this possibility please let me know.blindguardian wrote:Has there been a release for linux yet?

BTP on Linux
How do I get a copy of Beer Tool Pro for Linux? I understand the linux version is unsupported but would love to try/beta test. I currently run 3 flavors of linux (Ubuntu, Fedora, & Suse), and would be more than happy to provide feedback.
Re: 64 bit linux?
It is unlikely. However, I have successfully installed BeerTools Pro on Ubuntu 11.04 64 bit and it runs fine for me. This is untested and I can't guarantee it will work for you, but this is how I did it:tankers wrote:Is there any chance we could get a 64 bit build?
First, I used the Synaptic Package Manager to install "ia32-libs".
Then I opened the Terminal and typed this command from the directory where the downloaded package file exists:
Code: Select all
sudo dpkg --install --force-architecture --force-depends ./beertoolspro-1.5.18-1.i386.deb
