Has anyone used White Labs Pilsner Lager yeast? I have found that this yeast appears to be a top fermenting yeast with a slimy looking head that does not subside but keeps getting bigger and bigger until it overflows into the airlock.
Any body have a similar story on this strain

I pitched that yeast about 1 month ago in my latest batch. #WLP800... I didn't have that problem, but after about 3 weeks @ 50 degrees fermentation stopped completly, the S.G. was only 1.025 so I had to pull it out for a couple of days to get it to start back up.

Pilsner Lager Yeast
I'm terribly sorry for the late reply, but it is the WLP800 that I had problems with. I received a reply from Chris White (White Labs) who said that this lager yeast 'appears' to ferment on the top.
