Recipe Creation

Post by Crusty »

Hi brewers.
When you guys are creating a recipe & setting up all your inputs for the brew day, the three tabs that say Volume, efficiency, info, do you guys set efficiency as mash efficiency or brewhouse efficiency? I've got some real world figures from my last brew & it's basically spot on if I have the efficiency tab set to mash efficiency.
Cheers

Yes, that's the best way to think of it. The efficiency value is used when computing the extract yield and doesn't account for losses due to trub, racking, etc.
