Brewing gadgets on The Brewing Network Show- 12/18/05

Hey kids,
Well, it's come down to our last show before the holiday break and the re-structuring of The Brewing Network. This Sunday will feature our first ever "Gadget Show" that will feature nothing but great homebuilt and commercial gadgets to make your brewing life easier and more fun! Tune-in as Doctor Scott takes us through the gadgets that you can't live without, and some that you can, and even tells us how to make them at home. Plus, we'll be giving away a Hopstopper (gadget to transfer wort without the trub!) from Innovative Homebrew Solutions to one lucky listener during the webcast!

As we prepare to launch the new and improved BN in January, we could also use a little help from you to figure out who our listeners are. We have posted a short online survey that will help us to gain sponsorship for 2006. All information is completely annonymous and will be used for the sole purpose of gaining suppport to keep The BN going. Please take a moment and go here to help: ... a599d3.htm

It will only take a couple minutes, costs nothing, does not require an e-mail address, and only serves to help us figure out how to help you better. Our thanks will be a better BN for 2006!

So don't miss our last Brewcast of the year this Sunday at 5:00 p.m. Pacific Time. Plus, The Blues and Brews Show starts at 11:00 a.m. Pacific Time, so if you're brewing, or just relaxing this Sunday morning, tune in to The Brewing Network for great tunes to brew by. As always, The Brewing Network Show is live, commercial-free, funny and informative.

Don't live in the U.S. and want to know when the show airs live in your time zone? Go here for a great time zone converter:

To listen to the show go to:

and click on the "Listen" button. Drop into the chatroom during the show for real-time interaction with dozens of other homebrewers and to ask questions of the Brewcasters. If you can't catch the show live, click on the "Archives" button to download mp3 files of all past shows. Rather listen to a podcast of past shows? There is an iTunes link button on The Brewing Network home page.

If you have any pre-questions to ask of the Brewcasters or guest, send them to or post them under the "Beer Radio" topic in The Brewing Network Forum.

You gotta get up pretty early to beat Doctor Scott in the homemade gadget department.
"Make beer not war."

Currently fermenting: Double Hopped American Amber (two batches)
On tap: Blueberry Wheat, EJ Phair Blonde Lager (commercially brewed)
