Mesa, at one time a while back you said that I would need some special calculations to be able to use a refractometer for a final reading. My latest batch is a barley wine and I only made about 2 gallons, so I dont want to waste any of it to take a hydrometer reading, so I was wondering if you could give me the math so I can figure out where I'm at with the refractometer. Thanks in advance for any help you can throw my way. Actually its a wheat wine(51% of the grist was wheat) I guess if it came down to it, I could sterilize all of my stuff really good and take a hydro. reading and then dump it back in. let me know.
