iodopher

Post by joemez »

I have a question about sanitizing with iodopher. I am not supposed to rise it off, just let it air dry. What if it is not completely dry before i use it? I just started a batch and noticed there was still droplets on the inside of my carboy before I filled it. Please tell me i didnt screw up this batch.

I have used Iodopher on plastic a few times and it has gotten discolored. Is this merely a cosmetic problem or is it not a good idea to use it on plastic?
I would rather just use Iodopher on everything(glass, stainless and plastic) if its not going to cause any other problems besides the discoloration.

Discoloring

Other then the discoloration, your plastic should be fine.
