Mash Hopping

Has anyone here had any experience with mash hopping? I am particularly interested in how/if it affects mash efficiency. Thanks

I tried this technique once, but I didn't have a lot of experience with the all grain process at the time, so I can't comment on effeciency. The beer itself was quite good, but I honestly couldn't tell you how the hop component was. There is a thread from a while back on this, so do a search here for mash hopping and you should come up with some stuff.
