Cascading updates

It would be wonderful to have the option of pulling in a reference to an object (such as a piece of equipment, an ingredient, or even a preference such as unit of measure) instead of a recipe making a copy of these.
That way, if one needs to make a change, every recipe that uses it can be updated at once instead of having to manually do it. More likely one will forget to update recipes already using it and continue working with old data/settings.
