How about a 'last 5 files opened' menu item?

Allowing a conversion of ALL (not just individual) units to "Metric" (and back to regular) if desired. Also, when this happens, to convert the recipe to the chosen unit type, not just newly entered values.

If this feature already exists... my apologies, I am new to the program, and do not see a blanket unit conversion/changeover feature.

thx!

Just another thought...

How about an option to backup all of the settings? This way if a reinstall is required everything can quickly be reloaded.

Also, where there is the option to check for updates, could this be automatically run when the program is started (configurable for those that don't want it to check automatically)

And how about putting th 'About' under help? This is where it is traditionally (at least on the PC) :)

Thanks

Not sure how it works yet, but I believe this is where the Template comes into play. You save as a template and your settings stay the same.

I know about that however, If I want all the other things I set such as the grain price or my different vessels then I would like to be able to back this up incase I need to reinstall the software.

BeerTools Pro creates a local copy of the database when you first start up the program. This database is only replaced if the local copy is deleted. If you have saved your vessels in the 'Make Default' template, these are saved outside the program folder too. These will all be restored for subsequent versions.

I guess this is the 'Data.rsd' file?

When I right click in the ingredients window, I am more than likely going to select a preexisting ingredient than creating a new one. Adding a new grain just doesn't seem like a common thing to do.

Also, when selecting an ingredient, it would be nice to doubleclick on the item and have it added to the list rather than having to select it and hit a button.

Sorry, just another thought...

When saving a file, the default is a btp type file.
When opening a file, the default is a rec file.

Would it be possible to have the default opened file a btp as well?

Thanks for posting this. I agree. Besides being a bit of an inconvenience it seems odd that BTP would default to files that were created in ProMash

Water Report in print out...

I can't remember if this was covered yet, but I'd like to be able to print out the water report with salts additions, as a part of the brew day report.

Or, at least the ability to print it out separately.

Love things so far.

Let me know

I made a change in v1.0.4 that might help with this, please let me know if it seems to be fixed. Thanks!
