Ingredient Scaling for OG

Post by bzwrxbz »

Is there a way to scale the ingredients up or down to adjust OG? This is the process i would go through, for example.

1. Find a 5G recipe I like.
2. Enter in the ingredients into BTP.
3. I want to make a certain volume, let say 10L, so I scale down my volume to 10L. The ingredients scale down as well (good.)
4. My efficiency is constant, lets say 82%, so I hold this value.
5. Now, i do not like the OG of the recipe I entered, and I want to drop it a few points.

Is there a way to drop this OG by scaling without having to do a volume adjustment (which was already done above in my steps outlined)?

thx... cheers!

OG adjustment

The feature you are talking about is something that will be introduced in the future. It will involve the slider graphs in the style comparison tab below. The same type of thing will be possible with the other values such as color and bitterness.
