Re: Mac OS High Sierra Update leads to issues
Ok, that answers my question. I just wanted to know if the BeerTools Pro database was being synced with iCloud. In your case it doesn't seem like it since you don't have your desktop and documents folders enabled. This is an issue that some Mac users are experiencing and I can't reproduce the proble...

Re: Mac OS High Sierra Update leads to issues
Is there any improvement if you keep your BeerTools Pro library folder outside of your iCloud storage?

Re: Cannot assign no style once a style has been chosen
I'll have to look into that. At the very least, BJCP should not be used in the name for custom styles. Thanks!

Re: Corn Sugar affects efficiency?
I brewed a cream ale and added 1 lb of corn sugar at the end of the boil. My efficiency numbers are coming up strange (too high) though. In the Analysis Tab, I assume that the Kettle gravity is in reference to the END of the boil, correct? Kettle gravity refers to the gravity before evaporation. Ev...

Re: How to Close a Recipe without Shutting Down the Program
Apologies as I see I asked this question a while ago and Jeff did respond. I do still find it odd that there isn't an easy way to clear a recipe so you are back to your starting recipe template (i.e., a blank slate on which to work). Perhaps I'm missing this. I usually hit the new item button while...

Re: Mac OS High Sierra Update leads to issues
Those are frustrating issues. They are known but I am still trying to duplicate them on my Mac. Did you enable iCloud document storage when upgrading the OS?

Re: Boil Duration & Evaporation
Hi, Skotten.
As far as I can tell, Boil Duration is still there. Total Evaporation and Evaporation per Hour are combined into one field in version 2.0. The gear icon to the right of the field is used to select which one is displayed.

Re: Vessel capacity will not save
If the shape is circular then the length and width are the same. The dimensions are required for calculating vessel surface area.Stevo14 wrote:Yes, the length is zero, they are all circular

Re: Vessel capacity will not save
Are any of the vessel dimensions (width, length, height) zero (0) when you save the vessel?

Re: Migrating Data to a New computer
Open the preferences window and the location of the library folder is shown on the general tab. Moving that entire folder to the new computer and setting its location in preferences should do the trick.

Re: My Equipment Display Issue
Thanks, Jeff! That did it! Looks like the corruption happened sometime in 2013 since I had to revert all the way to that backup to be able to delete those items and have them disappear from the My Equipment tab. Super easy to just drag and drop the new equipment from the current recipe into the My ...

Re: My Equipment Display Issue
Thanks for choosing BeerTools Pro! That’s a local issue. Your database file is corrupted. Do you have a backup from before the issue started?

Set the %U to 0% for that ingredient. This can be done by editing the value in the ingredient list.
