I would def export the beer ml file from beer smith and import into btp. Could be efficiency setting or different grain specs.

I usually mix up a gal extra of star San with distilled water, plus I keep a spray botlle full with the same mixture that I use to spray keg posts, hydrometers etc. Star San mixed with distilled water remains active for a long time.
