Backup Option

It would be nice to simply enter a backup location - whether a cloud location (most offer at least a Gb or two free to new users) of or physical location stated in settings so all databases, templates and calibrated equipment could be backed up at the press of a button - because of the space require...

Re: Database additions

Would you consider the following especially relevant when brewing craft beers: Potato (as there are so many types just a generic one please) Kumera (sweet potato) - makes a very earthy tasting flavored stout and Porter - I haven't tried making Apple (and not for cider) Grapefruit - a tarter version ...

Styles

Regarding the BJCP it seems to be falling a bit behind with the times - for example a Black IPA to name one beer that is still unclassified (yet it is being sold in bars down under). Can we add more styles like say those listed at http://nhc.soba.org.nz/styles ?? Especially useful than having to go ...

Application Data Folder

Just for your information if you didn't have an Application Data folder you wouldn't have a Windows Address Book and if you use Outlook Express for email it also stores emails in sub-directories under this folder also. There is a chance it may have been hidden by the manufacturer's of your PC - as C...

The Info Window is left behind...

Remember how someone was talking about having the info window open about 10% on the right of the screen & the main window of BTP partially minimized? Did that today & then ran Outlook when I clicked on BTP it left the Info Window behind Outlook. If you remember to minimize Outlook first then...

Converting Units

It keeps defaulting back to teaspoons when I change the special ingredients to grams or cups in the conversion. I assume I have to change it in the preferences window as well because obviously the two are linked after playing with it...

Changing lower case first letter to upper case in file name

If I change the name of a brew completely it changes the filename in windows. If I try and simply change the first letter from lowercase to uppercase it will update the RSD file but not rename the actual recipe file within windows. (recipe file used to test - andre brygg)

Renaming recipe files

You realize it renamed the recipe but not the actual file name in the actual windows directory in 1.5.3? I haven't had time to play with it in 1.5.4b yet...
