Excellent!...

That's cool. I haven't gotten around to calibrating mine, but plan on it as soon as I move in a couple of weeks. I have the same set up. 10 gal round Igloo. And, right now, a 10 gal HLT/Kettle. Once you calibrate things, will you be able to just enter the ambient temp of each session to get your cur...

On my Mac too...

In Help, the scroll button gives a snail's pace with the info box. It doesn't seem to work the same as the rest of the program.

You can check by going to the Menu Bar and opening the Water Database. Scroll down the list to the water that has the (N), click Edit, and in the description it will credit the source of the water info.
That's it. Thanks!

What is (N)?

What does (N) stand for, Noonan?

Water Profile question...

I'm wondering what the letters in parenthesis next to certain City profiles mean.

Like Burton on Trent has 3 different profiles. One has a (F), one a (P), and one an (M). I notice there is also an (N) on some.

What do these mean? Couldn't find the info in the Help Guide.

I like it

Here is a link to a thread where I posted a recipe to show what the export looks like. ...Brew Board

I think it looks good, but could use some refinement as far as information content.

My username is al_bob on those boards.

Re: saving recipes in html format?

I think lots of us would like to see the ability to save a file in html format so we can post them on the discussion boards. I need to be able to copy the recipe to the forum I'm in so that people can give me feedback on the recipe...to an HTML file. We agree. We also think that BBCode (code used i...

Jeff, I sent you the file regarding my water profiles. I assume you got it.

I haven't downloaded 1.0.5 yet. I just got home from work. Gonna do it right now.

No problem really..

It's not really a problem. I can just re-create it. Only one really mattered.

I did locate the DataOld.rsd file. Anything I can use it for other than mailing it to you? Do you need the file other than just for helping me re-enter the info? If not, I'll just create a new one.

No, I created them while in v1.0.1 or 1.0.2 final release. I don't have the file you mentioned in Library>Preferences>Beer Tools Pro. I did have one called data.rsd, that's included in the BTP folder that comes with every download of new versions. I put it into the folder mentioned above, but it did...

I added new ones

I added 2 New profiles into the data base. They seemed to stay put during version 1, 2 and 3. But they seem to have disappeared on this swap.

I haven't noticed anything else. My settings have all stayed the same for my defaults.

Lost water profiles

After the 1.0.4 download, I'm missing the 2 water profiles I had entered into my database.

I had saved 1 file that has my water to Burton on Trent water, and that info still loads okay.

I just don't have mine anymore in the Water Profiles database.

Water Report in print out...

I can't remember if this was covered yet, but I'd like to be able to print out the water report with salts additions, as a part of the brew day report.

Or, at least the ability to print it out separately.

Love things so far.
