That will only print the items in that particular recipe. I'm talking about printing the full inventory.

Print/Export

Is there a way to: 1. Print my inventory? 2. Export or otherwise transfer the inventory files and equipment items? I'm trying to test the beta both at home and at the office because I craft the recipes at work and brew them at home. It would be nice to bounce the inventory file back and forth as nec...

There was a post in Dec 2006 on the call for inventory feature suggestions that is very similar to what I'm talking about: About automatically deducting as ingredients are used, that can be tricky. I would not want it to reduce the inventory before I actually brew and use the ingredients. On the oth...

Maybe I'm crazy, but do you need a line in the schedule to tell you you're supposed to chill now? ... or are you thinking more in terms of documenting how long the chill takes for referencing later?

BTW, I can get things to work if I use a second batch sparge, but I really liked the idea of BTP telling me what temp my infusion had to be at with x amount of water to bring the 150 degree mash up to 170. Don't think the batch sparge does that (but I could be wrong). It says 10.5 gallons @ 180 deg...

I agree with your list, but with the current feature implimentation, you won't really know if your ingredients are available for the 2nd, 3rd, etc recipes because they theorhetically could have already been allocated to the first batch. The only way to keep it straight is to deduct from inventory as...

Some more thoughts... Think of it this way; 1. You populate all your supplies into the inventory list along with quanitities (BTP1.5 does this fine). 2. You craft a recipe. Maybe some items are in stock, others are not, either way. Also covered in 1.5. 3. You MIGHT craft another recipe to pull from ...

The feature is surely a welcomed addition but I'm asking you to think more about it. Yes, I figured out how to tell the software to "make it so" or commit the ingredients to the inventory/shopping list. The button is there. It's just that when you have a few recipies on deck, there has to ...

New Batch Sparge Feature... Where's first runnings?

Just when I got used to the way it used to be ;-) Of course, everyone argued that Fly and Batch should be vastly different and complained of the lack of presets (I still think presets should be there) but I digress. The major flaw I currently see is NOT being able to drain the first runnings (the av...

Ready to talk about inventory feature a bit.

I've been waiting for this since I bought BTP last year. The one thing that is a bit unexpected is having to manually go into the inventory "page" and manually telling it that it's time to deduct certain things. I understand the purpose. There ultimately has to be a way to commit a recipe ...

Re: Presets Request

Presets and example equipment. Many many people use fairly standard sized equipment, such as a converted keg (keggle), turkey fryer burner, 5 or 10 gallon round cooler, etc. I know there is a thread in the forums where you can go see what everyone else tested and used, but it would be REALLY helpfu...
