Re: Kettle volume and IBU adaptation

Hello Regarding post : http://www.beertools.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=11395#11395 Utilization goes down as the gravity of the wort increases. I should see the Bitterness value taking a dive as I lower the Kettle Volume. This seems to be a major bug, or my assumptions about hop utilization are incorr...

Thx for your comments.
I've all what you said expect the late addition.

If I do that, I must crosscheck my biterness no? Because the boild gravity are not the same?

If I boild the whole extract, will my flavor change with this little color problem?

Electric stove vs darkest color

Hello

After a 10 batchs (with extracts and specials grains) on electric stoves, I notice my beers colors are always darker as expected.

How may I improve my boild without this problem?
Must I use a gaz stove?

Thx in advance for your feedback.

Re: Okay, djavet, I'm getting the same bug now ... PLUS anot

Clicking on 'Liter' again does no good; however, if you change to 'Gallon' and then BACK to 'Liter', it displays...

Hummm I will test this tonight. Thx.

And what going's on with the trub, etc...
With a start of 19liter, I never finish with 19, but ~17.5 or 18 liters
How to correct this?

Dom
