Secondary Q's
I've had my Irish Ale in the secondary for about 3 days now. Alcohol percentage is right where I want it. About 4.3% My question is, Instead of letting it just sit in the carboy and clear, can I just put it into the fridge and let it clear that way or is there a certain amount of time I should wait ...

Great beer from scratch.
Although I am new to homebrewing, I love the idea of being able to make everything from scratch. I have been reading up on growing hops and it seems like it would be pretty easy to do. I've tried to find some information on growing and malting grain. From what I've heard grains generally take up a l...

Just a quick question
When you say you're going to add it to the yeast cake in the secondary. Are you refering to the yeast that's settled out of the wort? Sorry. Ignorant newbie. Could you do this in the primary or would the excessive amounts of trub cause off flavors? Thanks
