Yup

That's about what I figured. Bottle an American light in clear bottles and let it skunk and you get an MGD clone. But add a lime wedge and... :D

Style guidelines?

I brought a German Weizen to my buddy's Cinco de Mayo fiesta. I thought about a "Mexican beer," but is this really a style? What are its characteristics? Just wondering.

Stir

You are boiling your priming sugar in water before adding it to the beer prior to bottling, right? I had a similar opportunity and now I stir the beer in the bottling bucket after adding the priming sugar solution. This resolved my problems. It seemed that the priming sugar was inconsistently disper...

From BYO.com

The following is from byo.com. Cheers, Ford Aluminum Fears... No part of brewing is safe from controversy. Even the equipment you use to brew can be controversial. For example, some homebrewers claim that using plastic fermenters is an invitation for infection because bacteria can hide in the small ...

Visiting Soon!

Mike, Wasn't your town the setting of a rather amusing cable comedy series? Regardless, my wife and I are celebrating our 5th anniversary this June and will be visiting San Diego. We will be hooking up with her brother, who is stationed there, and a friend of mine who just moved out that way. Would ...

Northwest Arkansas

I live in Northwest Arkansas, which consists of 4 major towns and several suburbs, but should really be consolidated into one big city. If you visit this area, my advice is to stay in Fayetteville, which is where the University of Arkansas (my wife's alma mater) is located. There you will find Dicks...

Buy an Ad?

Well, it looks like this show is filmed in LA and not NYC, so there goes most of my network. Unless, of course, you want to buy some ad time for your newly merged company and then we're in business. Still trying though. :)

How much?

What is the concentration of ammonia per gallon of water? Also, do you know a way to make waterproof labels (other than laminating them, which would probably be a hassle and expensive)? The ink on the ones I print with my PC will run if placed in a cooler with ice.

Hell, yeah!

Mesa,
I will champion the effort to get you on the show. That would be classic. I will check my connections and get back to you. It may be a long shot, but we will see. You surely have many supporters here. :)

Yes, it apparently is. A while back he mentioned owning a business, so I went to http://www.MesaMaltworks.com and got a hit. There is a contact link there, but no telling if it is current. No matter, surely he will soon discover that he has been the subject of a few posts here. Cheers, <--{in surly ...

Andy,
If you go to http://www.aha-soft.com/, you can download a trial version of their Art Icon and Any to Icon programs and convert images to icons or create your own icons from scratch. I can send you a sample of a Beer Tools icon I converted with this software if you like.

LMAO, Paul! You know, I just got back from the eye doc and going in I was actually thinking about that chair with the clips holding his eyes open. Fortunately, I did not have to endure that. Anyway, have you ever seen the show? (I know not everyone here lives in The States.) They have a movie, music...
