Looks like span to me too. I'd delete it.

Hi homebrewer, welcome to the forum. While I can't say that the 815 pump will definitely work, I believe it will. I checked the specs on March's website and they're pretty close to the 809 series pumps that most homebrewers use. The main consideration is the pumps ability to handle high temps. March...

How long has the beer under CO2? It sounds to me like you started drinking it before it was fully carbonated. Are you leaving the gas turned on all the time? As to excessive foam. The length of the beer line you need is also affected by its diameter. Most of us use 3/16" beverage tubing, and ab...

Micah, You didn't say, but I'm assuming (yeah, I know) this was an extract kit. It's really pretty hard to mess one of those up if you follow the instructions. At least with respect to OG. Sometimes when an extract brewer experiences gravity readings that are way out of line with the recipe it's bec...

I figured that since you're capable of doing a partial mash it's only a matter of time until you take the plunge into to AG. It seems like the natural progression for most brewers. The limiting factor seems to be the size of the mash tun. I'm not sure about converting to an extract or partial mash v...

Those examples you cited all look like commercial examples, none of which I've tasted so I chose "something else". The rye beer I have in mind is one I made last fall and in fact is in the que to brew again in a couple of weeks. It's called AP Rye beer, and you can find the recipe on Beert...

Thanks, Jeff. That's very generous of you, and I'd like to take you up on the the offer. A .deb file is preferred, but I'll take what ever is offered. Thanks!

I chose Morey. My preference is to be able to choose from a list, but if that is not possible I'd like Morey as the majority of recipes I come across use that.

I wouldn't worry about sanitizing the berries. Just thaw them and add them to the secondary. Since they were packed commercially the berries were cleaned and packaged under sanitary conditions. That's the way I've done in the past and have never had any problems.

Head Retention

Regarding head retention - You should have a set of glasses dedicated for beer use only. Other beverages can sometimes leave residues that are hard to remove. Use a detergent, not soap, to clean your glasses. I like TSP substitute. It gets my glasses clean without leaving any residue and it's cheap.
