I recently made a chiller that I found online. Its pretty simple to make, small, light weight and only cost me about $70 total. You just have to replace ice jugs every day or so. I followed the directions exactly and it worked out great.

I have used Iodopher on plastic a few times and it has gotten discolored. Is this merely a cosmetic problem or is it not a good idea to use it on plastic? I would rather just use Iodopher on everything(glass, stainless and plastic) if its not going to cause any other problems besides the discolorati...

also, I have never used a liquid yeast before like wyeast. Does it make a big difference over dried yeast?
