Re: Pellet hop correction editor question...
For example, let's say a recipe calls for 1 oz. of Cascade whole hops at 5.5%, and all I have is Cascade pellets at 6.9%, how much should I add. I don't know if it's a simple matter of ratios or not. Would it be 1oz./1.1 X 5.5/6.9 = .72 ounces or approximately 3/4 ounce? Short answer -- for bitteri...

Re: Text positioning peculiarity
When looking through the various displays I've noticed that when you display Volume Adjustments then go back to any of the Ingredients' displays the text in the Stage column is shifted 1/2 character to the left. This will continue to display like this until you display Schedule which afterwards the...

Re: CJ and The Missing Ingredients...
Agreed that would be frustrating. It appears this issue is isolated to you so far. We may need a little more information to go on. Did you install the application as you usually do? When you go to your user /Library/Application Support/Beertools Pro/ what do you see in the folder? I went ahead and ...

Re: Editable Master DB
So, for now we ask that you all try to be open minded and forward thinking. Populate your personal ingredient lists, and just give it an honest try. How long can it really take? 15 minutes? We are working on making the process of moving ingredients around even faster, so it will just get easier. Th...

Re: Hop Editor is not working for me
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx || Status: Bug Found || -------------------------- || Note: Prob. Fixed || xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx First, the recipe: there are two ways to access the edit panel, and I've tried both -- double-clicking on the Fuggles and also right-clicking the mouse. In both instances, I have change...

I'm not sure I like the unchangeable database either. I can't double click on an ingredient to read the full description and see the numbers -- to view that info, I need to add it to my inventory and then double click on it. I can kind of understand that you don't want it to be changeable, but when,...

Inventory Malfunction
Okay, I just played a little more with the ingredients inventory. I loaded a bunch of ingredients in there, then chose Make Default. Closed the recipe I was working on. Opened my test recipe, inventory was showing up. Quit BTP, restarted -- no inventory. Opened up my test recipe, no inventory. Tried...

Not sure if this is the right place to post this, but I'd like to: 1. specify target OG 2. specify percentage of each of my grains/fermentables 3. have BTP tell me how many (kilo)grams of each to use, based on each grain/fermentable's contribution to the OG (not based just on weight) Likewise: 1. sp...
