Then I know automatically if I have to carbonate more or less on the Carbonation tab - see how the CO2 calculator works at http://www.tastybrew.com/calculators/priming.h...

Re: Progress on the new BeerTools Pro

Was thinking about how the water calibration isn't that user friendly (consider the number of questions on the forum related to it) and the grist ph and wondering if it would be possible to link outside programs like Bru'n Water and others into BTP rather than running them as separate apps.

Re: Progress on the new BeerTools Pro

I assume you will want to get the Windows / Mac versions operational before considering the geeks on linux.... :D :D :D Great progress though and it does look much more user friendly which is essential for those just starting out... Was wondering if you would consider an export option to an epub or ...

Fermenter Temp and Time in Fermenter

As I'm adding these to my own in notes wondered if you could put in a couple of exta fieds for the above - as "Yeast" by Chris White and Jamil Zainasheff state that high temps with the same yeast will change the taste of the beer completely (Page 97). e.g temp changes while in fermenter, time in fer...

Re: Adding water to recipe ingredients

After seeing so many of my clients lose data (I design & repair small networks) because of inadequate backup systems I always would say look to see where it is saving data by checking under "Edit" "Preferences" on the menu then make a new directory called BTPBackup in the "My Documents" folder. Norm...

Re: Adding water to recipe ingredients

Under "My Ingredients" select "Water" Then at the top you will see your water which you have added - either right click on it and select "Add to Recipe" or simply drag it into your recipe.

Folders

As one can create and delete folders how hard would the code be to rename them also? Better than making a new folder transferring everything across and then deleting the old one... And be able to do the same for my ingredients - personally would like to have a "Sanitation / Cleaning" folder so items...
