I would like to have the ability to change the evaporation rate from percent per hour to gallons per hour. I think most of us brew on just one system and our evaporation rate is fairly constant. In other words, if a system looses one gallon per hour to evaporation the loss will be the same regardles...

Has anybody used the ProMash software? What benifits does it have? Thanks for your thoughts. I have been using ProMash for about three years. It is a great program, but the learning curve is steep and the interface is dated. Once you learn the program there is nothing it won't do for a home brewer....

It's hard, for me at least, to tell from a picture what is going on. But I'd say the "odd growth" you're seeing are just yeast colonies. I base that on the fact that the beer is couple of months old now and taste OK. I'm not a Nottingham user, but I have noticed that different yeasts exhibit differe...
