Yeah, if you're talking about closing an open recipe/session and going back to a blank session I agree. It's kind of irritating when you you have to launch the application again just because you closed a session.

You could always save 2 versions. The original plan and the actual beer. This way you have a record of how you planned the beer and then a record of how it turned out.
