Re: Recipe/Folders Tree

Ya know, after I posted I had the same thought. Let's hope our request comes to fruition.

Re: Recipe/Folders Tree

On a related note, the Sort By column always reverts to "Sort By Name, Ascending" when I open a new session. I almost never sort that way and have to change it back to the way I like it. Also highly annoying. Why can't it and the tree structure just stay the way they were when I closed my previous s...

Re: Remembering All Window Settings?

Good suggestion. Very similar to one I made a couple of years ago. And I agree that it is more of an annoyance than a show stopper.

Re: BTP Connect Save login for iPhone

Jeff, just tried this on my iPad 2 and it didn't work. I'm running IOS 8.1.2. Aslo, this feature needs to be made to work on Android devices as well. Afterall, there are more Android phones out there than there are iPhones.

Re: Android version

Jeff, as BTPConnect evolves would it possible in a future update to have it remember user log in information?

Re: Brewday / Hop Timers

I agree, jawbox. BTP is best brewing software out there, but the water calulator needs some work. It should consider the grist in it's calcualtions, and if you acidify your mash or sparge water you should be able to add liquid ingredients (lactic or phosphoric acid) and have those calculated too. Fo...

Re: Mac Maverics update

Just an FYI. If you go to your My BeerTools page on the website and click on Downloads it will show you your key. At least that's how things work on my Windows box. I assume it's the same for a Mac.

Bug in online app

There appears to be a bug in the online app in the way that it reports temps in the volume section. On my PC I have the temp for kettle volume set to 168ºF, but the online app shows 212. Similarly, on the PC evap/hour is set to 200ºF, but again the online app shows 212.

Re: Allow user to change temp for "volume @ temp" valu

I'd like to add to this feature request: can the setting be persistent, meaning if I choose to show the kettle volume @ 168º (which is my preference, as I'm collecting mash-temp wort), it will stay that way until I change it again? As it stands right now every time I relaunch the program it reverts...

Re: Star for the "A" recipies

That sounds like it would be a nice feature, but you can always create a folder and call it "A List Recipes" or something like that. There might be less scrolling that way.

Re: mash pH in BeerTools

As slothrob said, BTP doesn't consider the grist in calculating mash pH. It also doesn't consider whether you acidify your mash or sparge water. I think you would be better served by using a stand alone calculator such as Bru'n Water. That's what I use and find it very accurate when comparing the pH...

Re: Progress on the new BeerTools Pro

Thanks for the update, Jeff. I'm sure a lot of us have been wondering how the new version is coming along and are looking forward to its release. When you get further along will there be a call for beta testers?
