Oops. I was copying the license key from the regular download page. But out of curiosity, why don't the license keys for the 1.5 beta on the regular download page and the one on the beta download page match up?

Re: License key issue...

I tried installing BTP 1.5 beta on another Mac laptop of mine and when the user information dialog box appeared asking me for my name, email and license key, it wouldn't recognize my license key. I copied it directly from the Downloads section of My Beertools. 1.5 accepts a different license key th...

Print out selection

Jeff,

Thanks for adding the printout selection feature - it's great! But is there any chance you'd be able to make it so the items you select to print (or not to print) can be set along with BTP's default settings? This way we won't have to keep deselecting the items we don't want to print.

Color formula selection...

As I was manually figuring out the Morey color formula on one of my recipes I thought I would put this out there again: I would really like the ability to select which color formula I want to use with a particular recipe. I don't feel that the Noonan formula (BTP default) accurately reflects the SRM...

Water Chemistry editor bug...

When I pull up the Water Chemistry editor and click on "new" for either water profiles or mineral salts, the browser window shows up in the background but is grayed out. When I click on it I get the Mac "error" sound and can't select anything in the browser. It's only when I close the Water Chemistr...

Recipe name / Author - save issues

After I name a recipe and input the name of the author and save, the original recipe name and author do not change if I alter them and then save again. I would think that the name and author would reflect changes. edit: Maybe this is a simple refresh issue. I clicked on another folder in the left-mo...

Re: Delete, dragging folders, sugar addition, hop utilizatio

Hi, Lathe, I am sorry if I request something that has been mentioned before, but the list of requests is too long for me to check. The first and easy thing is about deleting items in the lists. I would like to just hit the delete key and then hit enter to confirm instead of right-clicking it, selec...

Can you not duplicate an ingredient in the recipe window? I could have sworn the old version allowed you to to that. For example, I have two additions of Summit, can't I drag it down from the ingredients DB, then right click to duplicate it? v1.028 featured a "duplicate" option. I would like to see...

Units of measurement in vessel pane do not save

I prefer to use some non-default units of measurement in the vessel pane and BTP is not saving my preferred units. For example, I changed dead space loss to ounces but when I click 'OK' and open up the vessel pane again it reverts to gallons. edit: Maybe this isn't a bug. It could be that the vessel...

For those who have posted their MLT specs, are your temperature changes based just on a water infusion or an actual mash? I did a water infusion yesterday to test my equipment and noticed a dramatic drop (10 degrees) in temperature over a 60 minute period. The most I ever lose during an actual mash ...

Tabbing through hop fields

In the ingredients window for a given recipe, I would like to be able to tab over from the "Boil" field to the "Quantity" field. Currently, hitting tab after entering the boil time is in effect like hitting "enter." I know it seems a little insignificant, but it's a creature comfort that I think wou...

I entered it as a 20 min boil time but I cannot find how to have it listed as FWH, it shows up as Boil (Kettle). This would be confusing when I brew this a year from now. I could put this in the notes but I may not read them. I would like to enter a formula for FWH once and just enter FWH instead o...
