Re: Database additions

thanks jeff,
i had used some already, because my lhbs was out of my usual golden promise, this was very cheap, and i liked the results, but my numbers were all off.

Re: Database additions

my lhbs has started carrying malteurop 2 row. i can't find anything useful on malteurop's site, but i found these specs elsewhere: Malteurop 2-Row Color: 1.8 Potential: 1.038 Yield: 82% Moisture: 3.5% Diastatic: 84 (min) 96 (max) Protein: 4% i've been told the barley comes from montana, northern bre...

altitude units in 2.0.8

i am unable to change the units of altitude in the schedule editor. it might be nice to be able to use ft since i am using imperial units everywhere else.
its not really a big deal, i just converted to meters, and moved on; but it would be nice to have not needed to convert :-)

no, i never set anything to always on top. strangely, i cannot duplicate it now either.

if, it happens again, i will make better notes on the state of my system.

clicking on recipe window

if btp is behind another window, clicking on the btp window does not bring it forward.

Re: metric

I've done something similar by arbitrarily setting a 10# grain bill, then scaling. In other words, 50% would be 5.0#, 25# would be 2.5#, etc.... yeah, i though of that too. i decided on metric, so that hop and things measured in something other than lbs would still work without a lot of extra effor...

i would just switch to metric units. then scale to whatever batch size you want. so say arbitrarily say your grain bill will be 100 kg (yeah baby!) then 57% will be 57 kg, and so on. add water until you have the required og (in btp). from there just use the scale feature. i'm pretty sure you can jus...

double click to add

how about double click on an ingredient to add? this would make it a lot easier for me.

another nice double click feature would be when editing a field, double click would select the whole field.

thanks

printing, odd color on dark beers, fast draft mode isn't

two issues here when i printed out one of my stout recipes the glass looks dark purple (it might be my printer, but i'm not low on any ink, so i don't think so. second, when i try to print in fast-draft mode, i get an error (printable area too small), never got that before. using 1.5.6b Reviewed.

re: kegging and maturing

usually the maturing time for bottling is mostly for carbonation. if you plan to naturally carbonate in the keg, there will not really be any change. if you plan to force carbonate, i throw the whole thing (keg, co2 bottle, etc) into the beer fridge (i'm fortunate to not be limited to 2 kegs). i set...
