How long does beer take to oxidize

I'm curious as to how long the beer would take to oxidize or get off flavors while fermenting. I did 1 week in primary and now its been in the secondary for another week (6.5 gal carboy). How long would I have to leave it in the secondary for it to oxidize? It's not something I want to do, I'm just ...

If I use c-brite with the well water for sanitizing all of my equipment and beer bottles will this be just fine? Or do I need to steer clear completely from that water?

Yeah I was thinking about it today and thought that running to the store and getting around 7 gallons of water brew and use for sanitizing would be a good idea. Thanks for the reply, I'll probably go that route.
