Two errors in yeast info box

Info box for WLP002 and WLP005 yeasts incorrectly states that flocculation for both are "very low".

It should read "very high" and "high" respectively.

Need info on Canada Malting Co. 2 Row malt.

Does anyone have the analysis info for their 2 row malt? I can't get anything from their website. I've been missing my numbers pretty bad ever since I started using this malt. I looked and I've been using Briess 2 Row for my recipes in BTP. I'm guessing that there must be some difference in the two,...

One problem I have is that all of my recipes are on another computer (Mac) that has a problem. I haven't had time to get it sorted out yet, so I'm on a PC, and starting all over...aarrgghhh! Actually, I think I just thought of a way to get at some of those files. If I could, I could email them to th...

Setting up a mash schedule?

Will there be or is there now more info on setting up the mash schedule? I'm having a bit of a time trying to get it to act like the old BTP? I normally do a simple one step infusion. I mash in to bring the temp to 152, and then let it rest for 60 min, and want to end up at around 145. The help sect...

AA identification idea

I hope I didn't read this thread too fast. As far as the database Alpha Acid values are concerned, why not just add the industry average value to a set of parenthesis, next to the name. And, be permanent, as a part of the name itself. For example, even if you want to edit your hops, and change the A...

I would like to think I'm gonna be able to upgrade this year (that wouldn't be all that hard, relatively speaking), but I'm not sure today.

I'm at 1024x768 on my back up monitor.

Well, that's sure what it seems like, but some of the other items have enough info on them, that the box becomes scrollable. So, it seems able to handle any amount it was given.

Curious..?

I was going to volunteer to make a list if it would help. I noticed quite a few in Yeasts.

It appears to be in all the categories, now that I look. Kinda random. Some may just be the lack of punctuation (period (.) ), but some seem to be cut off in mid-sentence.

I haven't looked at each item yet.

My information box is much bigger than the info displayed. Some items will fill the whole box up; some will just stop in mid-sentence after about 1 paragraph.

There is plenty of room. It seems like something automatic maybe limited the info that was copied to put in there...?

Source of annoyance

I noticed in the ingredient browser, when choosing certain yeasts, that the info in the information box is cut short. Is this fixable? I know I could go to the various web sites and copy and paste the missing info, myself. I just wasn't sure if you knew about it. I was trying to compare a few differ...

Totally agree

I really think this is a great idea. Any way you want to incorporate it would great with me. It's such a big part of creating a beer, it would make sense to be able to document this information and be able to graph it for easier understanding.

Those both sound great. I like hearing how everybody else is making things work for them. I love this program so far. I know it will grow. That's the best part.

I never thought about using templates that way. I like the idea of setting up mash schedule templates. Thanks.

I agree that documentation is important. But, I thought for the basic set-up that the Documentation topic on the board here was the greatest help for me. It was laid out in a nice precise flow (I thought), and anything I didn't understand I was able to post about it in that room. I do think that it ...

me too...

I just DL'd v18 and I love the way it's slowly getting better and better. I'm glad I got in on the Beta, too. It's great to see the evolution.

I'm impressed. And, I really believe it'll end up being the best out there.

So far, so good!
