Ditto. This really needs to be a feature.

Thanks, Jeff. One feature that might be nice would be a "collapse" button for the volume field area of the main recipe window. Maybe so just the final volume field still showed. This would give those of us with smaller monitors more room to expand the ingredients or inventory display fiel...

One thing I've noticed that kind of blows is if you bring a recipe over from BTP version 1.0.29, the inventory/shopping list on BTP 1.5 does not recognize the ingredients on hand. It automatically assumes you have to shop for them. That means I have to completely redo all of my recipes in BTP 1.5 fo...

Okay, that worked. However, it is unfortunate that the recipes/recipe folders don't come with that file. I have my recipe folders broken down by Pale Ale/Stout/Wheat/etc, so I can find them easier. I'm back to square one if I move from computer to computer. Are you concerned about that being too big...

Scenario: Recipe is loaded, but not modified. Hit the "x" in the top left corner to close BTP, pop-up window comes up with two options: "Exit BTP" or "New recipe". Can you guys add a "cancel" option to that? I find that if I change my mind and want to keep the...

Re: Correction..

So if I use beertools on a desktop computer and a laptop, can I move that .rsd file back and forth so I have the same inventory numbers on both computers? I tried it last night and it didn't work, but I admit I'm not the brightest bulb on the tree. ;) It's my fault  Sorry about that! The name...

Can you not duplicate an ingredient in the recipe window?

I could have sworn the old version allowed you to to that.

For example, I have two additions of Summit, can't I drag it down from the ingredients DB, then right click to duplicate it?

Yeah... It's kinda strange that people without access to the beta would keep receiving beta announcements pointing to a "hidden" topic for downloading the beta... If people don't have access to the hidden forum, that means they overlooked the instructions provided in the emails sent on Fe...

What I don't like about that info panel is that no matter where you move it, it is covering something up on the rest of the screen. Only if you maximize the main window. I keep my main window at about 80% of the screen width and the info panel the other 20%. I also stretch the info panel to the sam...

In the top fieid where you can display recipes/ingredients/etc. , can you make it so a window or display field can show the entire text? Beersmith does this nicely, if you hover over the item you want to see. It is really frustrating to have to open the pop-up box to read about an ingredient's desc...

I feel I need to post again about a set of timers appropriate for different stages of the brew day. This is a feature that I think is extremely important if BeerTools is going to be considered the all-inclusive tool for brewing software. I know you guys have mentioned that timers are going to be par...

Re: Brew Day features

The program could use a lot of brew day features such as timers that can be preset with what hop addition to add and such. It would also be nice to have it go off to take notes as to when the actual step took place for things like mashing. So that it would go off when 45 minutes occured but if you ...
