why don't you just brew the beer and take your measurements, then see which program is closer? 10 gravity points is about a percent ABV difference. in an imperial IPA, you've got bigger things to worry about than that.

I then add about one month per 1% ABV, which means my 7% IPA needs about 4 months before it is at its peak. I like to give it a month or two on dry hop and oak chips and then a couple of months in the bottle before sampling. A 10% ABV needs about 9 months, which I would a large portion of in the se...
