Re: What is your brewing setup?

Up until now, I've used a 17 gallon kettle as both my HLT and boil kettle while mashing in an Igloo 72qt cooler. I'm not brewing on a MoreBeer single tier sculpture. 15 gallon kettles for HLT, MLT, and BK with a digitally controlled HERMS system.

Water Profile Issue

I had posted this a while ago and didn't really get a solid answer, so I thought I'd post it again in a different way. I got my Ward Lab report a couple months ago and tried to enter the data into BTP. Whenever I try to input the individual values, the following ones input correctly: pH Ca++ Mg++ Ca...

Re: Beer Tools Water Profiler

Thanks for the help, guys. Re: Beer Tools Water Profiler

I just got my water report and am having some trouble inputting it into BTP. http://i232.photobucket.com/albums/ee192/turkeyjerky214/ScreenShot2013-09-19at93314AM_zpsd919d970.png When I input the data from the report, BTP automatically adjusts the Hardness and Alkalinity, but while the Hardness valu...

I agree. That's find if you add it somewhere else, but I liked it next to the final volume. Why even have the check box there anymore?

How do you add custom ingredients?

I've been searching for hours and can't seem to figure out how to add a grain that isn't already in the system. Can someone from the BTP team let me know how to do this? I just switched over from Beer Alchemy and I love everything about this program so far, but I use Carastan in a few of my recipes,...

Bump.

I just tried putting in a recipe with it and am very disappointed it's not there. Is there a way to add this myself?

How to scale recipes

So I just downloaded the trial of BTP and have started entering recipes into it. There's still a ton I have to learn about it, but one important feature I'd like to use and can't seem to find is to scale a recipe. All my recipes are for 5 or 5.5 gallon batches, and I just upgraded a bunch of equipme...
