Even if it is a little more expensive, I buy from my local shop. I want him to stay in business since I rely on him for stuff as well as advice. Plus, he stocks over 40 different grains and has never been out of a grain I needed.
The shop is Maine Brewing Supply, 542 Forest Ave, Portland, Maine

Re-using Yeast
I saved some of the trub from the bottom of a primary in which I used Safale 05 to ferment a 1.045 gravity ale. I packaged the slurry in two sanitized bottles, capped them and refrigerated them.
Will I be able to re-use this yeast and how?
How long will it keep?

Re-using Yeast
After racking off the beer, I saved some of the spent yeast from the bottom of my carboy. The yeast was from a package of Safale-05. I used it to ferment a batch of ale with an OG of 1.045. High gravity IPA fermenting slowly
On 1/1/10 I brewed a high gravity IPA (OG 1.077) from extract. I used a hydrated pack of Safale-04. It kicked off well, very active fermentation for about 5 days. After 8 days, the gravity was 1.030 and fermentation had slowed to a crawl. I racked to a secondary, added dry hops and added a rehydrate...

Cloudy Wort
2 days ago, I brewed a batch of special bitter from a Chalres Papazian recipe using DME, specialty grains and fresh hops. I boiled for an hour as the recipe specified. The wort began cloudy and has stayed cloudy. It is fermenting well, but still looks like sludgy chocolate milk. Should I be worried?...
