Re: Sorting Behavior

Thanks Jeff. I appreciate you looking into it.

I still love the software.

Re: Sorting Behavior

Thanks, Jeff. It's not a big deal. I can sort it by date currently, but if I exit and reopen the shopping list it defaults back to name. I would prefer that the sorting behavior I set up is saved when I close the shopping list. Similar to the issue that used to occur for the recipes. Which you have ...

Re: Sorting Behavior

I hate to be a real PIA, but is there any way we can carry the sorting behavior over to the shopping list? Currently, when you add a recipe to the Shopping List window it defaults to sorting the recipes by name.

Re: Sorting Behavior

Towards the bottom of the menu there is a horizontal line under which is a second section for selecting Ascending or Descending order. It is this second section that is not being saved when BTP is closed. This is the sort order that I am referring to as well. It does indeed save the "by date&q...

Sorting Behavior

Any chance that the sorting preference can be saved? While it saves the sort by date option, it's a little cumbersome to have to change the ascending/descending order every time I open the software. (I prefer that my most recent recipe be listed at the top) I haven't updated to the most recent relea...

Re: Login Error on Linux

Still no luck in Linux. It's only a minor irritant, but something I can live with. I imagine Linux bugs are low on the priority list. If it's a bug at all; could be my issue, I suppose. I'll just have to save to the cloud from my Windows machine and hope there are no changes, since I primarily use t...

Re: Login Error on Linux

Yes, I am. And I am pretty sure it worked at one time. And perhaps I should mention that I am trying to login to my account from within the software, which I believe you assumed anyhow.

Login Error on Linux

Why am I having issues logging in online? I'm trying to login so that I can transfer recipes to my online account for viewing from the BTPConnect app. When I input my username and password (which I know is correct) it gives me: error code 102 (1) This only happens on my laptop running Linux Ubuntu 1...

Re: Brewday / Hop Timers

I agree. I love the BeerTools software and would hate to move to Beer Smith. While I disagree with the notion that Beer Smith is the only actively supported brewing software, I can see how it gets that reputation. That being said, any issue that I have ever had (very few) was quickly responded to by...

Re: Linux 64 bit, is it possible?

I ran into the same issue. Jeff attempted to help me in this thread: http://www.beertools.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=6940 But, ultimately I believe it was this thread that resolved my issues: http://www.beertools.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=6122 I do now succesfully run BeerTools Pro on my 64 ...

Re: Beer Tools Pro 2.0 and Linux

No Dice. Maybe it's my noobness with the Linux OS. I ran the commands you provided in the terminal, then tried to install using the Ubuntu software center and it appears that nothing happened. Should I be trying to install from the terminal somehow? Thanks in advance for all the help. Edit: Jeff, th...
