Another Efficiency Question
Ok, so I have been reading through the forum and found several posts concerning how to calculate efficiency. I understand the mouse hover technique and have done that to figure mine. My question is that the figure that BTP is actually giving you is the "Brew House Yield" and not a true &qu...

Good question...
I'm not sure what happened, but I must not have saved my schedule in BTP. I have been having a heck of a time trying to figure out the whole schedule set up on that program. I need to spend some time on the BTP 1.5 help forum, but I'd rather spend my time getting the current or next batch ready to d...

Stuck Fermentation...with Nottingham??
I've not used this yeast before, but after reading all the hype about it between the various HB sites, I was extremely underwhelmed by my personal experience. I pitched 23g (hydrated) of Danstar Notty to ~10.5-11 Gal of a OG 1.055 New Castle Clone (All Grain). I pitched a bit warm, ~75-78*F but afte...

very good shape
Keep in mind, this is the first 4 kegs I've owned, so I'm not neccessarily the resident expert. I will tell you though, that they all had plenty of pressure in them when they arrived and none of them have any dents or scratches that I could see. There are some stickers and some marks that I'm 99% po...

Cheapest Source for Kegs
I'm not sure this is where I should place this thread, I didn't see any classified area. I posted this on another HB site and it was received with mixed emotions. I think some people just thought it was too good to be true. At any rate... If you are in the market for some ball lock cornie kegs and d...
