PVC pipe
I have some new pvc pipe left over from a sewage pipe line replacement and in the spirit of home brewing I am wondering if there are any ideas out there as to what could be done with it in regards to brewing? I have 24ft of 4" pipe and 12' of 2" pipe. Thoughts?

Ale pail fermenting
Anyone have any experience fermenting in an ale pail....as far as keeping a constant 70 degrees? Other than using the room temperature, what other methods can be used with an ale pale? My heat goes down to 63 when I'm at work so I need a better method.

HLT conversion
I have a 32Q boil pot that I want to place a ball valve and thermometer in. If I use a false bottom, whats the recommendation for attaching the elbow to the ball spigot? Can you run a small section of food grade tubing or would a section of copper tubing work better?

Any ideas where to pick up some clear food grade vinyl tubing to snake through the SS braid on Fly Guy's MLT conversion? Oh and what size tubing would work?

boiling pot
Are there any advantages/disadvantages of an aluminum boiling pot vs. a stainless steel boiling pot? I can get a 32Q used pot cheap but its aluminum and didn't know if that metal was bad ju ju possibly imparting metalic flavors in the water. Thoughts?

wort chiller
So with a copper tubing wort chiller that you immerse in the wort (as opposed to a counterflow system) where does the cold water end up after its run through the copper tubing? Is it just siphoned of into a bucket, drain, etc?

Rubbermaid cooler
I've been looking to buy a 10gal Rubbermaid coller to build my lauter tun but so far I can't find them for under $60. All of the references I read said they got theirs around $30. Any ideas where to find one cheaper than $50-$70? Since I will be making 5gal batches I will need a 10gal cooler as oppo...

Lauter tun plans
Hi guys. After quite a few mildly successful extract batches I want to dive into the wonderful world of AG brewing. Does anyone know where I can get my hands on some DETAILED (notice the capital letters) plans on how to build a lauter tun from a rectangular ice cooler? Much appreciated!!!!!
