I modified a recipe and selected save as, added a "2" to the file name and only the modified recipe displayed in the Recipes folder. I deleted the modified recipe from the database. The original recipe does not display in the Recipe folder so I imported it again. When I try to move it from...

Version 1.5.6b - I am unable to add Gypsum (or any mineral salts) as an ingredient/kettle addition to a new recipe. I can not drag it down from My Ingredients or the Ingredient DB trees. I have tried adding it as the 2nd ingredient and the 6th ingredient.

Re: Ingredient DB Sorting

Edit: If this search could be restricted to a specific highlighted field in the view, it would be on the money. Perform the search just on the sort column? Yes!...I guess if could wave my magic wand, it would search all fields by default but restrict to a specific filed if you clicked on it before ...

Re: Ingredient DB Sorting

I was talking about eliminating the need to scroll through those individual sub-category ingredients, like hops, by using the keyboard. Do you know that you can type a few letters in the text box above the ingredients field to limit what's listed below? For example, type in "mari" and onl...

Re: Ingredient DB Sorting

dgriffin and GTIBrewFast: If you expand the Ingredient DB by clicking on the + sign in the main pane, the ingredients come up as sub-folders of Grains, Extracts, Adjuncts Hops etc. This solves most sort problems. Cheers PP I already have the sub folders displayed, that doesn't really address what I...

Re: Inventory & Unit issues

Is there a way to add something to the database library, eg another grain? Is it intended that you cannot open a grain editor box on database grains? RE: units - no preference option for SG vs. Plato or oe in general unit preferences. In grain editor window, I am allowed to modify units with "...

I've skimmed through the thread and haven't seen this: In the interface, when you select something like Hops and you are presented with the grid view of all the hops in the database (or my ingredients) , it would be nice to be able to use the keyboard to go right to the selection desired rather than...

I agree with your list, but with the current feature implimentation, you won't really know if your ingredients are available for the 2nd, 3rd, etc recipes because they theorhetically could have already been allocated to the first batch. The only way to keep it straight is to deduct from inventory a...

It's just that when you have a few recipies on deck, there has to be some mechanism that considers them all as they pull from your inventory prior to brewing. If you're used to planning a single recipe, brewing, then planning another, then brewing in that cycle, this potential issue would never aff...
