My LHBS sells a lot of Great Western malts, mostly their base malts and a few specialty malts. I would like to see these included if possible but I couldn't find any information on the interwebs about this maltster.

That thing looks cool!
Relay outputs! You could do some fun things with that.

Re: I want to brew a Lager. Please help.
My question centers on this: If I only have 1 frig then I really can't do more than 1 lager every 3 months or so because the temperatrures would be competing right? Pretty much. During primary fermentation you will want to have your fridge running around 50 degrees for 1-2 weeks. This is an awkward...

Check out this site. They do things with a keg that I didn't know was possible http://www.kegs.com/fermenters.html and Budcar in response to your question a few threads back they have a great 170K burner with a safety device built in for your sanke kettle http://www.kegs.com/burner.html

Pretty sure that wasn't it
I made sure the yeast was good and viable before purchasing it. WhiteLabs puts creation dates on their viles, and the hombrew store I go to is really good about rotating their WhiteLabs stock. My yeast was less than one month old.

Actually I am going to stop by More Beer in two weeks when I go to visit the in-laws and I was going to pick up a temperature regulator and heating blanket for my extra fridge. It's been on the brewing wishlist for a long time but I am just getting around to it. Unfortunately the heating blanket won...

Strange Fermentation
I brewed a 10 gallon batch of Belgian Saison with an OG of 1.055 using WhiteLabs WLP565 yeast on Monday 02/17/03. I did not aerate my wort, however I did VIGOROUSLY shake the carboys before pitching the yeast. I made a 1qt. yeast starter on Saturday night 02/15/03 that was showing almost no sign of ...

How about ten years!
The biggest factor in cellaring your beer is the percentage of alcohol. If it is 7% or greater than you would definitely benefit from aging your beer. The next biggest factor is the complexity of your brew. If you are adding a complex mixture of malts, hops, spice, fruits, chocolate, coffee, etc., e...

Big BTU's
It's all about the BTU's The higher the better. You'll want at least 150k. If you can find 175k-180k that's great. I don't think I've seen a unit higher than that. No specific model number, these things are a dime a dozen. Costco, Wal-Mart, etc. cleverly disguised as turkey friers.
