Mouse wheel doesn't scroll Upper window display correctly

My mouse wheel does not scroll the BTP uppermost window contents smoothly. It doesn't matter whether displaying recipes, indgredients, etc., the list will not scroll unless I spin the wheel hard & fast and then it moves around 3 lines at a time. It won't scroll slowly one line at a time. I'm usi...

Which Database file is the critical one for backup?

I have been using BTP for a few years now, and want to clean up my folder structure on my hard drive. I find that I still have a folder left over from BTP older than v1.5 named C:\Program Files\BeerTools Pro . I want to delete that folder and all contents. Is that safe to do? I also have a folder na...

My setup is a HERMS system

I use a 15 gal. pot for HLT, with a copper heat exchanger coil in it. I heat strike water in the HLT first, transfer it to the Mash Tun (10 gal Igloo cooler). Then I fill the HLT with spargewater and heat to 170F. While that is heating, I recirculate the Mash through the heat exchanger by in the HLT...

Jawbox,

Thanks! That's exactly what I was looking for. I guess I didn't see it because I was trying to right-click on the Recipe's ingredient expecting to find the "replace" option.

It works great the way you described it.

Ingredient Substituion in Recipes

I'd like to see an Ingredient "Replace" feature for Recipes. I'm not sure this already exists in BeerTools (at least I haven't found it anywhere), but here goes..... I would like to have the capability to substitute an ingredient in an already-existing or downloaded recipe with an ingredie...

+1 for this

I also would like the ability to customize (or select/deselect) what gets printed out on the report.

Good idea on using the notes area, I'll try that. Hopefully the notes section appears on the print out for a recipe!

Fermentation Info Section on Main Display

Hi, Dont' recall if this has been asked, but could you add a Fermentation section to the Main Recipe Display listbox pulldown that would contain the fermentation details for a recipe? This could hold the following info, and would be helpful (especially for lagers). It should also appear in the Recip...

New User and questions

Hi All, Just purchased BeerTools Pro and GOLD membership and really enjoy the recipe database. Have been using ProMash for the last couple of years. I brew all grain and expect that BTP will be very useful for me. I've been using the program for a few days now and I have some questions: 1. Tried imp...
