I too would like to use the beer tools Linux version. Where can I download it, and is my current license valid for an Ubuntu 11?

I don't have any calibration done, but the type of equipment I think should come with the software in a default database would be your most common equipment types. You would include 5, 7.5, 10, and 15 gallon pots as well as 15.5 gallon keggle. The most common sized mash tuns would also make sense. 5...

Re: Two Pcs Licenced by default

It would be nice if we could have two licensed copies of BTP - one for the desktop and the other for a laptop by default... then synchronizes the recipes on completion - then we can update our notes as we brew. Also a print preview option would also be appreciated. Using the info window for various...

Yeah, I had templates made, but when I lost all my info in a hard drive crash last month, I have to go about all of it again. Mainly I was thinking of newer users. But admitingly also being a bit selfish when looking at entering all that info again.

I have had beer tools pro since it's release date and never received one single message like that. I have also skipped an update every know and again. I am running a PC with Windows XP, not a mac.

Plans for a CD release?

I am wondering if there are plans for a CD-Rom release of Beer Tools Pro? I brought a copy of some recipes I did in beer tools and they were wondering if there were CD's they could distribute and I told them I didn't think so. But I know they are interested in offering brewing software to the custom...

Re: Feature Requests

Please post feature requests to this topic. Today you announced a new version; I went to my program to check to see whether I had that current version, considering that I had just downloaded it yesterday, and could find no way to determine what version I have. In other program, when I click on &quo...

Just Noticed an Import Problem

I don't even know if this can be fixed or would be worth the time, but I am in the process of converting my beersmith recipes into .xml format to import into beer tools pro. I have had no problems importing, until I came across some recipes with ingredients that are not in the database. For example ...

I have a minor convenience suggestion for saving your files. It would be nice if there was a section in preferences tab where you could select the default folder you would like to save the recipes in. I like to save all my recipes in a different folder than the my documents folder and instead of hav...

I have tried the late addition method with some great results, however I have found out that you need to boil the DME for 15 min at leat, but not LME. The reason I was told is that the LME has already been boiled but the DME has not.

I have had cherry with a recipe very similar to what you have made. It was actually one of the most popular homebrews with my friends. It should turn out fine I would think, And the raspberry tones will go well with the chocolate malt in my opinion. I would add more raspberries to the secondary, 24o...

Extract with grains for me. And I am perfectly happy where I am at and the beer I make. I don't really have an intrest in going to all grain.
